Asbestos Awareness Training




Who is the course for?

Regulation 10 of the CAWR 2006 (Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006) places a duty to ensure asbestos awareness training is given to employees whose work could foreseeably expose them to asbestos. In particular, it should be given to demolition workers and those workers in the refurbishment, maintenance and allied trades where it is foreseeable that there work will disturb the fabric of the building because ACMs (Asbestos Containing Materials) may become exposed during their work.

The health effects of different asbestos materials

Where it is found and how to identify it (typical uses)

Legislation and guidance

Working safely with asbestos materials

ASK – Asbestos Register, Show Awareness, Know you are Safe



Course Duration:

Half day session.
